Mrs. S. – Welcome, and thanks for joining this happy gathering in the comments box! Maxine is definitely a woman. Any man sounding like that would need to undergo years of intensive therapy to cope with the teasing.
Billy – I used to do that when I was studying for my A-levels. I later discovered that it was due, in part, to my excessive consumption of Wine Gums and Smarties, which apparently render me incapable of keeping a straight face.
K8 – I think that a shouting gizmo would scare the living daylights out of me, in the manner of a loud hidden track on a CD. I’d rather risk falling asleep and hope to just glide to a gentle halt on the hard shoulder.
